My name is Meaghen and I have been teaching for over four years. I have experience teaching infants, toddlers and preschool. I am currently working towards my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy working with infants because babies are where my heart is. I love to snuggle, make them laugh and help them explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. My favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow and learn new things every day. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and watching Disney Movies.

I was born in the south of Russia in a small town called Sochi. I moved to Moscow when I was 23, and worked as a flight attendant for 5 years. I finished University in Moscow with a Master’s Degree in Psychology. I have been living in the US for 3 years. I got married in 2014 and we moved to Champaign, IL. We do not have any children yet, but I have a lot of relatives in Russia, and I miss them very much. When we moved to the US, I decided to get a local education and I chose Child Development at Parkland College. When I was a second year student, we moved to Massachusetts. Now I am planning on continuing my education here and get an Associate’s Degree. I love that children are so curious about every little thing and that they are so eager to learn. Thanks to them, I pay attention to small but great things that are usually out of my focus. Through them I can see the beauty of small moments.

Hi my name is Tyler, and I have been working in the child care field since 2013. I am attending Becker college for my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood. I am certified as lead teacher as well as director certified. I graduated high school with a scholarship to University of Rhode Island for Marine Biology, but before going to college I worked for a family friend as an assistant teacher at her school, and I ended up falling in love with the job and the kids. I decided at that time to pursue my career in childcare.
Working with children has been such a great experience! I love teaching children, watching them grow and flourish into their own personalities. It is an amazing feeling to know you have made an impact on a child, and to know they look up to you to learn new things. Nothing feels better than watching a child tell their parents what they have learned at school and the excitement they have as they are telling them. I love getting messy with sensory play to creative art projects!
I currently live in Shrewsbury with my mom, brother, and my girlfriend. When I am out of work, I have many hobbies to keep me busy. I love fishing, and fish at every opportunity I get. I love to play hockey, baseball, and love working on cars. In the winter time I enjoy snowboarding!

Since I was a child, myself, I knew I wanted to become a teacher. On January 1, 2010 I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to share my passion and love fore learning, education and children. I have spent my 20+ year career unknowingly preparing to share Little Hands Academy with you. I have watched and learned from a countless number of children, including two of my own (2012 and 2014). My desire for life-long leaning, play based learning and listening to the “100 Languages of Children” (Reggio Emilia) has been an honor to share with you and your family at Little Hands Academy.
Welcome to our family.
